From Paraguay to Australia:
A JOURNEY OF PASSION AND CREATIVITY
Once upon a time, in the heart of South America, I was born in Paraguay, cradled by the rich heritage of my Guaraní roots. My early years were painted with the vibrant colors of Uruguay, where I lived until the age of 27. Piriápolis, a beautiful coastal town, was my playground. It was there that my nickname, Chila, was born—a name that started as a source of childhood teasing but blossomed into a badge of honor in high school. My closest friends and family still call me Chila, a name that holds the essence of my journey.
A Creative and Solitary Childhood
As a child, I was a quiet observer of the world, often lost in the company of animals, especially dogs, who seemed to understand my quiet nature. Creativity flowed through my veins; I began knitting at the tender age of 8, crafting tiny wardrobes for my dolls. My childhood was marked by solitude and frequent moves, attending seven different schools. This constant change made lasting friendships difficult, yet the few bonds I forged are unbreakable, standing the test of time.
Growing up in Piriápolis, a small coastal town in Uruguay, I found solace in the natural beauty around me. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore and the gentle rustle of the trees became my constant companions. I spent hours wandering along the beach, collecting shells and pieces of driftwood, imagining the stories they might tell. These solitary adventures fueled my imagination and inspired my early creative endeavors.
This period of solitude and self-discovery laid the foundation for my future endeavors. It taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of nurturing my creative spirit. These lessons continue to influence my work today, as I strive to capture the beauty and complexity of the world through my photography and artistic pursuits.
In my teenage years, my creative interests expanded. I started experimenting with different art forms, from painting to photography. My fascination with capturing the world around me grew, leading me to explore the endless possibilities of visual storytelling. Through the lens of my camera, I discovered new perspectives and found a voice for my quiet observations.
Despite the challenges of moving frequently, I learned to adapt and find comfort in my own company. I poured my heart into my creative projects, whether it was knitting intricate patterns or sketching the landscapes that surrounded me.
Each new school presented an opportunity to reinvent myself, though the process was often lonely. My introverted nature made it difficult to connect with my peers, but it also deepened my appreciation for the few close friendships I did form.

This passion for visual arts became a cornerstone of my identity, guiding me toward a future where creativity and self-expression would play a central role.
Entrepreneurial Spirit from a Young Age
At 13, I ventured into the world of entrepreneurship, crafting and selling knitted handbags to my sister's friends. By 14, I was delving into accounting and administration studies, and at 16, I completed a high school diploma in administration. At 17, I launched my handbag business, Chila, overseeing every detail from design to marketing. My passion for business was matched by a love for the arts, leading me to pursue a degree in Fine Arts at 20, where I immersed myself in photography and digital art.
Curiosity and Continuous Learning
Midway through my Fine Arts degree, my curiosity led me to explore accounting, eager to understand the intricacies of business operations. My thirst for knowledge knew no bounds; at 24, I trained as a Sivananda yoga teacher in Brazil, an experience that enriched my soul. At 21, I discovered the magic of analog photography, a passion that remains with me. With friends by my side, we explored the world through the lens, capturing moments of beauty and creativity.
A Bold Move to Australia
At 27, driven by a spirit of adventure, I moved to Australia without speaking English—a true leap of faith. Through determination and resilience, I carved out a life for myself, now working in marketing and photography. I help entrepreneurs tell their stories, emphasizing authenticity and purpose. As a Capricorn born in 1992, I embrace the drive and ambition that come with my star sign.
Expressing Through Art
My journey into the world of rap and graffiti began when I was 20 years old, inspired by a person I deeply admired. This newfound passion ignited a creative spark within me, leading me to explore the vibrant and dynamic world of street art. I started painting murals, transforming blank walls into canvases that told powerful stories and captured the essence of the urban landscape.
Each mural I created was a reflection of my inner world, a visual narrative that conveyed emotions, thoughts, and experiences. The process of creating street art was both liberating and challenging, allowing me to express myself in ways I had never imagined. I found joy in the vibrant colors, bold lines, and the sheer scale of the murals, which gave me a sense of accomplishment and pride.
In addition to murals, I delved into other forms of artistic expression, including painting and digital art. My work often blends realism with abstract elements, creating pieces that are both thought-provoking and aesthetically pleasing. Through my art, I aim to inspire others to see the beauty in everyday life and to find their own creative voice.
Art has become a vital part of my life, providing a medium for self-expression, healing, and connection. It has allowed me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and to share my vision with the world. I continue to explore new techniques and styles, always seeking to push the boundaries of my creativity and to evolve as an artist.
Connecting with the Heart
Despite my introverted nature, I cherish deep, one-on-one connections. I seek honest, authentic, and vulnerable interactions, connecting with others on a profound level. My story is woven with threads of resilience, creativity, and passion. Through my work, I strive to help others express their true selves and connect with their own narratives, celebrating the beauty of each unique journey.
Photography, for me, is not just about capturing moments—it's about reflecting the essence of a person. It’s about seeing the beauty and the details that often go unnoticed. It's like holding up a mirror, but with the perspective of another person, the photographer. Through my lens, I aim to reveal those essential qualities and inner beauty that individuals might not perceive in themselves. The camera becomes a tool for self-discovery and connection, highlighting the unique light within each person.
Understanding oneself is the beginning of all growth, and photography can play a pivotal role in this journey. It allows us to see ourselves from a different perspective, to acknowledge and embrace our strengths and vulnerabilities. Each photograph is a testament to one's journey, a celebration of who they are and who they are becoming. Through my work, I aspire to create a space where people feel seen, valued, and connected to their true selves.
"In every frame, a story unfolds. Embrace the beauty within and let your journey be a testament to your unique light."
